Followers That Build Legacies
Leaders do not accomplish missions and bring to reality visions all by themselves. They must have followers. It is the followers who do the work. It is often the followers that recruit and train new followers. And it is often that the followers become the next generation of leaders. With this being true.
What should a leader look for in when selecting a follower? What should a leader look for when determining to continue to develop a follower? How do you go developing followers to become the future leaders.

The Backbone Of Leadership
What does the inner core of a leader look like?
Leadership is more about who a person is on the inside not just what they can accomplish that can be seen from the outside. Without a firm inner core within the soul of the leader the accomplishment of mission and the bringing to fruition mission usually just remains a pipe dream.

Leading People Is Not Herding Cats
Interacting with individuals in the leadership context is challenging, but it’s not herding cats. In fact it’s not about herding at all. The best way to lead people into the future is to connect with them deeply in the present. James Kouzes and Barry Posner. Interacting with people is not one-dimensional or one-size-fits-all. The leader and his interactions with people must have a great deal of wisdom and must exercise that wisdom when it comes to connecting with people and moving them forward to not just where they want to go where they ought to go.
"Management is about persuading people to do things they do not want to do, while leadership is about inspiring people to do things they never thought they could." - Steve Jobs

A powerful message artfully delivered. Dale Hutchcraft offers, as a speaker, a rare combination—a powerful message presented with good humor. You can find speakers to entertain and speakers with a message that needs to be heard. Rarely do you find the combination in one speaker. I heartily recommend him.
